Summer Quarter at my college ended a few days ago and I've been sleeping 10 hours a day everyday...I woke up around 2PM (I need to fix this ....lol) and decided to go downtown Seattle to look around. I went to Macy's to see if they carry a G-Shock I've been interested for a few months now but I didn't find it in their watch store. For those of you who are wondering what it is, it's the Casio G-Shock Frogman GF8250.
I was a little disappointed with Macy's selection of G-shocks...They mostly sell the 5600 and 6900 series.....Anyways, I went Boarders to check out some fashion magazines and I found out they are CLOSING.....I thought it was Barnes and Noble that was going out of business....This is very sad because Boarders is near Westlake Center and Macys and it's in a very convinient location....Boarders is a nice place to kill time before meeting up with friends. I used to go to the Boarders downtown a few times a month and I loved how it's so relaxing and there's a coffee shop inside the store. I love the smell of coffee so Boarders was definitely one of my favorite place to be. Books and CD's are 30% off this Monday through Wednesday!! I bought two James Bond books and the new incubus cd. I got the 007 Carte Blanche (The new James Bond book) by Jeffery Deaver for $18.89 instead of $26.99, Devil May Care by Sebastian Faulks for $9.80 instead of $14.00, and If Not Now, When? Incubus CD for $9.79 instead of $13. I saved a total of $16.50 and I think it was definitely worth a trip to Boarders. I wonder what will replace the Boarders store in downtown Seattle..... I will post a thread of my review on these items in a few weeks...Check out pics..
